Rules:

1. Buying the Scratch cards


1.1 Every Scratch card can only be purchased at authorized and verified distribution centers for the full amount.

1.2 On receiving a Scratch card, You must check that the Scratch card has not been scratched off, damaged, mutilated, altered or tampered with, and that it is not a Defective Scratch card. If it is any of these, You should give it back to the Retailer and request a different Scratch card.

1.3 Only anyone under the age of 18 cannot buy a scratch card

1.4 Only one Person can be the owner of a Scratch card


2. Your responsibilities

It is your responsibility to maintain the security and integrity of Your Scratch card. When claiming a prize, the Scratch card is always required to be presented; otherwise, the prize will not be paid.

2.2 It is also your responsibility to claim and make sure you receive the entire amount of any prize to which you are entitled.

2.3 Neither Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. nor any distribution center will be responsible for:

(a) loss, theft, mutilation, destruction or degradation of, or damage to, any Scratch card; or

(b) any mistakes or omissions in respect of data recorded or not recorded on any Scratch card; or

(c) any loss of whatever nature suffered or incurred by any person as a result of any of the above affecting the Scratch card.


3. Claiming a Prize

3.1 You can only claim a Prize if You are in possession of the Winning Scratch card, You are not a person listed in any category in Rule 1.3; and:

(a) You bought a Winning Scratch card in accordance with Rule 1; or

(b) You received a Winning Scratch card as a gift from someone who bought it in accordance with Rule 1; or

(C) You find a lost Winning Scratch card.

3.2 You can check whether You have won by using the Terminal at Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. offices . If Your Scratch card is identified as a winner on the Terminal, the message may be visible to others around You so You should take care to ensure Your privacy.

3.3 After validating Your Scratch card at Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. offices, a win receipt will be printed then you claim your prize.

3.4 For prizes of #100,000 and above, applicants are required to fill prize claim forms provided at Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. offices before you can claim your prize.


4. Validation requirements

4.1 Before a Prize will be paid on a Scratch card presented for payment, the Scratch card must be successfully validated. If a Scratch card is not validated, Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. will not be liable to pay a Prize in respect of that Scratch card

4.2 Without limiting the effect of Rule 4.1, a Scratch card presented for validation will be declared invalid and Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. will not, therefore, be liable to pay any Prize) if:

(a) Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. reasonably believes the Scratch card presented has been stolen

(b) the Scratch card presented is not on any list held by Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. of the Scratch cards issued for that Game or

(c) the Scratch card presented counterfeit or has been forged in whole or in part or fails to pass Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. validation and security tests; or

(d) the Validation Number on the Scratch card presented is not on Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. official list of Validation Numbers of Winning Scratch cards, or no Prize is shown as having been won for the relevant Scratch card on Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. Computer System, or a Winning Scratch card with that Validation Number has been paid previously; or

(e) the Validation Number does not match (using lucky winner's codes), the Play Symbols or Prize Symbol on the Scratch card presented and/or is not printed in the correct symbol font.

4.3 Without limiting the effect of Rule 4.1, a Scratch card presented for validation may be declared invalid and a Prize may not be payable, if:

(a) the Scratch card presented is damaged, mutilated, altered, unreadable, incomplete or has been tampered with in any manner; or

(b) the Scratch card presented has not been issued or sold in an authorized manner by scratch and win or a registered distribution center; or

(c) the Play Symbols, Prize Symbols, Play Captions, Prize Captions, Validation Number or any other unique feature of the Scratch card presented do not match precisely with the artwork for the Scratch card held on file by scratch and win or the Scratch card presented is defective and/or all or part of it is misprinted; or

(d) the information provided by the person claiming the Prize is incomplete, false or has been altered or tampered with

5. Payment for prizes

Lucky Scratch Card Ltd. reserves the right to:

(a) pay Prizes by cheese, other approved instrument, or direct credit;

(b) withhold a Prize, provided it is acting reasonably, until it has declared the relevant Scratch card to be valid in accordance with Rules 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3;
